Deborah Ann Fischer, age 64, a resident of Pasadena for 15 years, passed away on October 24, 2017 at University Hospital after suffering from liver failure.

She was born on July 17, 1953, in Baltimore, to the late Thelma I. and William S. Lauver. After graduating from high school, she went to work in the health care field: as a nurses secretary and in the admitting office at Harbor Hospital for about 15 years; and then in the admitting office and business office as a customer service representative in Baltimore Washington Medical Center for another 15 years. She was a longtime member of St. Jane Frances Church, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister. She was a caregiver who enjoyed shopping and dancing during her free time. Known to be a comedian, she knew the words to every song, and if she didn’t, she would make them up. She loved people, and everyone loved her as well.

Along with her parents, Debbie is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 20 years: Dennis P. Fischer; and her sister Muriel L. Chearney.

She is survived by her sister Barbara D. Imrisek, of Pasadena; her two sons: Matthew W. Fischer, of Pasadena, and Dennis P. Fischer, Jr., of Ohio; her two daughters: Dawn and Lisa Fischer, both of Ohio; her niece Pam Chearney, of Pasadena; her brother in law Robert Chearney, also of Pasadena; and six grandchildren.

The family will be holding a celebration of her life at a later time. Feel free to express your condolences below.
